The Doug Woog Hockey Camp has consistently been a leader in girls hockey development. Four-time Minnesota State Champion coach Dave Palmquist of South St. Paul and numerous players from the University of Minnesota women’s team are part of our instructional and counseling staff including Anya Miller,
Gigi Marvin
and Erika McKenzie. Our camps excellent instruction and ice time is combined with many fun summer activities. You’ll be surrounded by winners.

girls faceoffCampers are on the ice approximately 20 hours per week, starting with a warm-up skate Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. Daily sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. and finish around 9:00 p.m.

During the regular hockey camp weeks, campers may also try their hand at golf or horseback riding for a reduced fee. One of our favorite activities is in-line hockey. The blacktop parking lot is marked and ready for some exciting games and tournaments.

Next to the arena is a grass athletic field ready for soccer, football, softball and a host of other activities.

Accommodations are at Breezy Point Sports Complex’s Lodge directly adjacent to the rink. The air-conditioned Lodge houses a kitchen, cafeteria, weight training room, classroom, girls minigolflounge area and video arcade. It has four beds per room, accommodates 100 campers, counselors and coaches. Breezy Point Resort offers on-site security personnel and will be staffed 24 hours a day. Each day, campers will enjoy three balanced, nutritious meals. Safety and the well-being of our campers have the highest priority. Medical personnel keep campers healthy and ready for daily action. When near the lakes or pool, campers wear life-jackets and when mountain biking, helmets are required. Most of our staff and counselors are college students, players and school-teachers and they supervise all camp activities. Lights-out is at 10:30 p.m. to ensure campers will be fresh each day.
