Doug Woog has been running Doug Woog Hockey Camps and Power Skating Schools for more than 35 years. Our camps have been successful because of our uncompromising philosophy of “Hockey Excellence and Recreational Fun” and our talented and dedicated staff has made us stand out among the many hockey options out there.

It’s with very mixed emotions that, for the first time in 27 consecutive years, we will not be running the Doug Woog Summer Hockey Camp in northern Minnesota. This decision comes after much discussion with our family and the folks at Breezy Point. Breezy has indicated that they would like to take over more summer ice time at the arena facilities to run their own camps. They have also purchased a Junior Team which will require more ice for practicing and training of their players. Basically, the Doug Woog Camp wasn’t able to secure the ice time and facility time we would need from Breezy Point to run our summer camp.
Although it might be the end of an era, another one has already begun.

This 3-on-3 style of hockey encourages players to compete at a high intensity, fast paced, quick-decision making level of play. Players work on skating, stick-handling, passing, shooting, scoring, and back-checking as well as game situational play and fundamental development.
